The Michigan Chapter of NASF recently hosted its annual Auto Show Meeting luncheon during Industry Preview Week of the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). Held on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2017 at the offices of Butzel Long in Detroit, the event had a record attendance of 60 people, and this has become a premier event that members look forward to all year!
MINASF President Brian Harrick gave a Chapter update, and Christian
Richter from The Policy Group on behalf of NASF National gave an update on NASF news, including a new partnership with the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) and the Bright Design Challenge at the College for Creative Studies. Keynote speaker Mike Wall, automotive analyst from IHS Markit, gave a presentation titled “Automotive Industry Outlook—Is the Glass Half-Empty or Half-Full? The Devil’s in the Details.”
After the program, attendees gathered at Cobo Arena to tour the NAIAS and to be a part of the Industry Preview only open to automotive suppliers.
